The Community First Toolkit wins a national ASLA award!

The American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) has recognized the Community First Toolkit with a national Honor awards in Communications. Since its deployment in 2020, the Toolkit has informed or guided the design and programming of over 50 projects across North America. We are grateful for the work and insights of the 2024 ASLA jury panel, who noted that the Toolkit “practices and approaches are essential to the work of the field, in righting the wrongs of the past, and to codesigning an equitable and shared future for all of our communities” (Landscape Architecture Magazine, Sept 2024).

The Grayscale team was honored to receive this award alongside project partners from the High Line Network and the Urban Institute.
