He/Him
Iam is a licensed architect from Thailand and a co-founder of Sahaai Architects, a Bangkok-based firm practicing climate-responsive, small-scale residential design and residential healthcare architecture. After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in architecture from Chulalongkorn University, Thailand, his works focus on creating spaces that respond to local ways of life, integrating cultural and vernacular wisdom into contemporary design. Iam led projects from concept to post-construction, ensuring physically and psychologically supportive environments for the context and the people inhabiting within and working around it. His early commitment to social equity and inclusive design is reflected in his volunteer work with a public hospital in Thailand, renovating learning spaces for children with autism. He is expanding his understanding of the built environment through urban design studies at the Harvard Graduate School of Design, focusing on addressing systemic challenges like housing affordability. He is exploring how urban design can improve the well-being of communities at scale, balancing respect for heritage with innovation to create design that fosters social and environmental resilience.
